It's Jimi Hendrix, by a long way, but Robby Krieger is a great, underrated guitarist, possibly top 10 material. Jimmy Page has to come in second, and Clapton 3rd, i'd have to say. Chuck Berry 4th for his influence.

if its too hard to decide between a guitarist people will add a few contenders for the title, and if there are others worthy of mentioning, people could rank them as i did. Dimebag Darrel and Steve Ray Vaughn are excellent guitarists, but their influence is not as great as other guitarists, which limits them.
